It is possible to build a new Nigeria! A Nigeria free of curroptions and extortion. A Nigeria that is free of crimes, rape and murder. A Nigeria where the citizens will have respect for the leadership. A nation where the leadership will love, care for and be accountable to the citizens. A Nigeria where my children will be free to live wherever they choose without the fear of OPC, Niger Delta Boys and the Boko Haram. A nation where peace and justice will indeed reign. A Nigeria that will take its place as the GIANT of Africa indeed and not the ANT of Africa as we have been reduced to.Yes, it is possible. But it starts with you and I.

THOUGHT PROVOKING

BORN NAKED BUT NOT EMPTY - Understanding the Power and Principle of Talents (Part 2)
The fact that all men were born with a great deposit of God grace (talents) inside them is no longer an issue. However, what might be the issue is that many of us allow these giftings to waste. So I'll to share with you what I call The 3 D's of Talents.
1. DISCOBVER YOUR TALENTS
When Hellen Keller (a blind woman) was asked what could be worse than blindness, she replied, "Having sight but been able not to see." There is still something worse than physical blindness. It is for a man to have both eyes and yet be in total blindness to who is and what he has. Just a few hours back I had the priviledge of talking with one of my mentors and a few other guys. It is amazing how we (young people) waste our precious lives away waitng to secure a job that is not there, while there are precious talents wasting away inside us. I can tell you that these talents are not only capable of giving us a better life but also helping us create jobs and emplyment opportunities for other people. But instead of us looking inwards to see what we have inside us, we are busy blaming a government that is not even ready to listen to us.
Guys, there are great talents inside you, that are capable of making you great. But, it starts with discovery. Until you discover who you are, you might not be able to recover fully your destiny. To live the life that God has designed for you to live, you must be able to first discover what he has placed inside you. Don't take the amazing talent for cooking that's in you for granted; it might be what you need to start a brand new eatery. Don't take that ability to make people laugh for granted; you could be the next celebrity comedian. Your ability to teach people could be the seed for a great school that is yet to start. Too many of us covet other people's talents while we neglect our own. We often wish that we are able to do what someone else is doing. Whereas if you could search your inside very well, you will discover that there is a unique grace you also possess It might not look like it but it is the hit thing. Don't neglect the grace of God that is inside you.
This is the first of the three d's of talents. Ruminate over this until I come your way again tomorrow. Until then, stay blessed.

the real VAL.
This is wishing all young people a great val day. However, remember that val is just one day, it is here now and it will go away. Don't do things that will jeopardize your destiny here on earth and your eternity in the hereafter. Do not sacrifice your destiny on the altar of temporary pleasure. We love you.

ONE CHANCE TO LIVE... ONE TIME TO DIE!
I have heard people say it over and over again, that life has no duplicates. In fact, it has become a maxim sort of. But if it is true that there is only one chance of living, then what would you do differently and how would you live this one that you have?
As a pastor, I have had occasions to officiate at several funerals - funerals of the rich and the poor, the learned and the unlearned, big men and small men. However, never really hit me like that of a fifteen year old girl who had just finished writing her final exams in Secondary School. She was so full of life and aspirations for her future when the cold hands of death snatched her away. As her body was being lowered into the earth and men started covering her up with dirt, a sad thought came into my mind - the pages of life of somebody has just been closed.
When I observed the way we live and the things we do with our lives, it baffles me that we could be so careless, carefree and uncommitted to this one chance of life. We drive at such breakneck speed as if there is a spare life tucked away in a vault somewhere. We live such reckless, purposeless and vision less life as if well if I miss this opportunity, there is a second chance to fulfill destiny. The Bible clearly established it that it is appointed unto man to [live and] die once, and after this is the judgment. You see when the reality of the one chance to live dawns on you very well, it infuses you with a dimension of wisdom that helps you to do an appraisal of your life and then begin to live the life you ought to be living.
I have said it over and over again that I am not afraid of death but I'm scared to my skin of dying here on earth, getting to heaven and for my creator to show me the life I was created to live and the life that I live and for me to realize that I didn't live the life I should have lived. This consciousness has helped me to carefully consider my day to day living. The question is, are you living the life that God created you to live? And if you are not living it, when do plan to start living it? May I announce to you that whatever success you fail to accomplish here on earth is gone forever. Whatever things you fail to enjoy here on earth is lost for life. Apostle David said, "And teach us to number our days, that we may apply our heart unto wisdom." Just a few years back I was so happy that I clocked twenty. But I was so shocked when on my birthday this year I suddenly realized that I am now thirty plus. O my God! How time flies! That day instead of celebration, a big sorrow descended upon me.
The realization that I was over thirty and the world is yet to know that I existed hit me so hard that I lost appetite for celebration. Yes, I was married. But is that all there is to life? Are there not things I ought to have achieved by now? At thirty, Alexander the great had already conquered the entire world of then and registered Greece as a world power. At thirty, Jesus Christ had already launched his nation wide ministry. At thirty, Bill Gates had already become the Chairman of a thriving Microsoft Company. At thirty, Yakubu Gowon had already become Nigeria's Head of State. I have a feeling that I am late for some things.
Guyz, I believe that with a careful examination of your life, you will also realize that there is a life which you ought to have started living but which you are yet to start living. The major issue here is, if you miss this life, where do you hope to execute all the dreams you have been dreaming all these while?
As I sign out now, I leave you with this question: if you don't become what you are designed to be, then what will you be? Have a wonderful day. See you again tmao.
...to be continued tomorrow.
